Recent rumors state that Chelsea has turned down Manchester United’s £55 million offer for Mason Mount. The Stamford Bridge organization has set a £65 million price tag on the services of the Red Devils. Manchester United is hesitant to go over their allotted transfer budget for a player with just one year left on his deal, though.
The opinions of Chelsea’s supporters on Mason Mount are split. The Blues are willing to meet with officials of Manchester United and come to an amicable agreement before the new season even though they rejected the offer.

3 arguments against Manchester United terminating the Mason Mount agreement
1. Mason Mount wants to depart because he is in the last year of his contract.
Since the 2022/23 season’s conclusion, Mason Mount has pushed for the transfer. The 24 years old will begin his final year of employment on July 1 and has no plans to extend his contract at Stamford Bridge. Additionally, Chelsea has spent a lot of money during the last two transfer windows. 2. Poor campaigning by Mount

Victor Osimhen and Rasmus Hojlund are two effective strikers that Old Trafford wants among the attackers. None of these players would be inexpensive, and Manchester United would wind up spending more than they had planned.

However, there are more suitable candidates to fill the midfield position. Declan Rice and Moises Caicedo, for example, are up for grabs in the transfer window, and the team has been connected with both. Caicedo is of particular interest since he could cover for Casemiro at a cost comparable to Chelsea’s Mason Mount asking price.
